NAB Retail Customer Executive, Marnie Boyd said the health and safety of staff and customers was the first priority.
"While we conduct necessary repairs the branch will remain closed to customers," Ms Bryant said.
"In the meantime customers can make deposits and withdrawals via the Bank@Post service at the Australia Post branch or they can access their accounts online.
"Our branch in nearby Berry has also extended opening hours until 4pm."
The Nowra branch team continue to serve customers through alternate channels including phone and digital and look forward to welcoming customers back into the branch when it is safe to do so.
No date for a proposed reopening of the Nowra branch has been announced.
